NEWSFLASH: Noteworthy storms Sacramento!

We have been blessed with several very talented nieces, two of whom performed to a spellbound crowd Friday night at Sheldon High School in Elk Grove. Noteworthy is an phenomenal 9 member BYU female A Cappella vocal group, and We are big fans. It is refreshing to hear real vocals for a change- rather than the overproduced pop that commonly pervades ipods and airwaves.
I've uploaded six numbers from the concert- "Lord, I would follow Thee" -solo: Katie Jensen, a cool creative vocal percussion piece by Courtney Jensen, 2 of my personal favorites- "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" - solo: Jenna Engebretsen and an 'Hungarian' Chant, "Step Outside" -solo: Rachel Sonderegger , and finally the encore number- "Listen"- solo: Amy Whitcomb. Please be patient while these QT files load...Enjoy!
Sacramento Tea Party Panorama
Recently, Mike joined several thousand citizens at the California State Capitol for a 'Tea Party' (sacteaparty.com). The event brought attention to the fiscal irresponsibility of our government. I was able to get up on the stage through the crowds and shoot a cool 360 degree panorama of the event during Michael Reagan's speech:) (use your Shift & Control keys (Shift & Command Mac) to zoom in and out)
NEW: Good friend Tyrone Curry shot the pic below of Mike taking the Tea Party panorama on stage. The pano was taken with a Sigma 8mm lens and Nikon D50- 6 shots around and one down (nadir):
